The Homeschool Performance Ensemble is a unique Christ-centered program designed for homeschool students who have a passion for dance and a desire to use their gifts to glorify God through outreach. There is no previous experience needed to participate in this group. Each week, dancers participate in a full morning of training that includes a devotional, ballet class, contemporary class, snack break, and rehearsal.
Throughout the year, the ensemble will learn, rehearse, and refine a collection of dances that are prepared for local outreach performances. These performances provide students with opportunities to share the love of Christ through the art of dance while growing in both technical excellence and artistic expression.
This program is intended for more experienced dancers and requires at least some previous training. An audition or placement class will be required to join. Participants must also be actively enrolled in additional Dance on Mission classes or consistent dance training through another studio to maintain their technique.
Each week, dancers participate in a devotional, ballet class, contemporary class, snack break, and rehearsal as they prepare a collection of dances for local outreach performances. Along with refining their technique and artistry, dancers are encouraged to use their God-given talents to share the love of Christ through meaningful performances in the community.
